Two Poems
Sojourn
In a Precious moment of
Solitude
I gently lower the shutter
Of my soul
And Dismiss the rest of the World.
Slowly I am Swept Away
In Amourous arousal
Recapturing details
And fabricating new ones
As our passions collide
Gently Someone awakens me And I reluctantly return to Reality.
Looking Out the Window
The tree Brakes,
At the Mercy of the wind,
Bend & Sway as if about
To break.
The trees show themselves
To be stronger, as if
Defiantly against Mother Nature,
They stay whole & unbroken.
And they continue on to the next season.
